Foto Viva!

Hey!

I finally have some pictures for you.

I think some of you may have seen some of these…. They’ve all been retouched,
though, and I’m pretty happy with them. They’re all from our trip to Australia
except the first two. They’re on our lovely island.

Click each for a full view. The jpg compression codec butchers the continuous
tone on the skies, so please be advised that the pics are not representative
of output, with regards to pixellation / aliasing. If you see any that you like,
drop me a line and i’ll see if i can’t get one printed. I believe the original
filesizes will accomodate the printing of images as large as a 20-story building,
so don’t be shy. :-)

An old church
circa really old.
An old (WWII?) storage facility at the top of Nimitz
hill.
Lighthouse on the ‘Great Ocean Road’ SW of Melbourne

A different view of the previous location. NE of 12 Apostles Park, this is another formation.

NE of 12 Apostles, on the beach. Got a sunburn in 15-20 minutes
of being out there. Watch that hole in the ozone!
Apollo Bay, on the Great Ocean Road. Really neat landscapes. Sydney!

Part of a series of sunset pix - damn clouds! But it turned
out okay nonetheless.
Nighttime at the opera house. A panorama of sydney harbor from the Royal Botanical ‘Gahdens’.
This is 13 images stitched together.

I am Bender, Please Insert Girder

Good News! I am emerging
from the bear trap that has been the past 4 months.

Finally.

Between projects, classwork and clients, I have not had time for very much
outside my office. Looks like I’ll have some time off here in a couple weeks
to play a little! By play, I mean work on something that I
want to work on…

Sorry for not posting in such a long time - I really need to make this part
of my ‘rituals’. Promise to have some pix up soon too!
