A Dark and Stormy Night

We had a really strange electrical storm last nite. Actually it was this morning
at around 4am. I was able to snap a few shots of it before the rain started
and blocked my view:

Step In To My Office…

Getting ready for our (hopeful) trip to Hong Kong, I broke out the camera gear
and ensured it all worked. I took some pictures of my new office for your viewing
pleasure….

Checking In…

So I’ve been busy. Real busy. After finishing summer classes, I ramped
up the time I spend on clients to 100%. Got a couple of really neat projects
in the hopper, so I’m excited to get stuff released.

I wouldn’t make it through the day without the peaceful serenity found at the
bottom of a demitasse (thanks, Gael!) filled with a *perfect*
pull of Lavazza®. It is in honor of my good friend (and muse) Gael, that
I dedicate the following pictoral:

mmmm. Crèma……

Well! From what keeps me going, to what keeps me going….outside
-

Well, maybe sometimes we go outside, but since we found this lovely leather
couch…..we get…*yawn*…..so tired…..

So as you might have guessed, Zoe is doing just fine. She’s learned how to "SIT,
ZOE" and "LAY DOWN, ZOE". We have to put the "ZOE"
at the end or I suppose she thinks we’re talking to someone else.

hah.

So in lieu of a stateside visit, we’re headed to Hong Kong in a couple weeks
- US Navy and Korean Air willing. So far it’s been the former and not the latter
(surprise!) that has us wondering…. So psyched for the possibility
of being in a big city again! It’s been too long. Nothing like living 3,000
miles from anywhere to make you see what a ‘city boy’ you are. Should have some
good shots, and plenty of Chinese people happy to see ‘that guy with the camera’
leave.
